About this experience
The desert evening, and then the part almost nobody stays for: the night, and the silence after the day visitors have gone home. You are collected from your Dubai hotel in the afternoon and the first half runs like any premium safari, with dune bashing, a sunset stop, camel riding and a BBQ dinner with live shows at camp. Then the coaches leave. What remains is a private tent, a fire, and a sky with no city in it. Stargazing is the reason to do this version rather than the evening one, and it only works because the camp is far enough out for the light pollution to stop. Breakfast is served in the morning before the drive back, around sixteen hours after pickup. Bring a jacket whatever the month.
