About this experience
A conservation-led park off the Hatta Road holding more than three thousand animals, arranged by region rather than by species. The African Village is the main draw: giraffes, white rhino, a big cat section and the gorilla enclosure. The Asian Village runs to tigers and Asian elephants. The Arabian Desert Safari section covers the animals that actually live here, which most visitors have never seen, including Arabian wolves and oryx. The Safari Journey is a guided drive-through included in general entry on most ticket types, and it is the part children remember. Four to five hours is realistic. Go early. The animals are active in the morning and asleep by the middle of the day, and there is very little shade on the walking routes. It closes for the summer, usually from May to September. Your ticket is entry; food and the train are extra. It is one of the better value days in how to see Dubai on a small budget.
