About this experience

This Abu Dhabi city tour from Dubai is a full 10-hour day trip to the capital of the UAE, picked up from your Dubai hotel in the morning and dropped back in the evening. The drive is about 90 minutes each way. You will visit the breathtaking Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, built to honour Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, where a free abaya is provided for ladies at the entrance. From there the day takes in the iconic Emirates Palace, the five Etihad Towers standing together in one location, the white sands of Abu Dhabi Corniche Beach and the traditional Heritage Village, then the Marjan Art Gallery and the famous Abu Dhabi Dates Market. The last two stops are photo stops: Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, and Yas Island, home to Ferrari World, the National Exhibition Centre and Yas Mall. Then it is the drive back to your hotel. Lunch is included, drinking water and WiFi on board are free, and the price is AED 100 per person on a sharing (group) basis. On many Abu Dhabi tours from Dubai, lunch is something you buy yourself at a stop. On this one it is in the price. Your guide speaks English and Russian as standard. Entry tickets to Ferrari World and the Louvre are not included, because those are photo stops, and we are happy to add tickets to your booking if you want to go inside. Our guide sets out Abu Dhabi in one day, in the right order.

Before choosing your day out, read our Abu Dhabi one-day itinerary for the route and the stops to plan around.

For the mosque visit, check the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque dress guide before you pack.

Yes. AED 100 is per person on a sharing (group) basis and already includes lunch, drinking water, WiFi, the free abaya and hotel pickup and drop-off. There are no hidden charges.

Is entry to Ferrari World included?

No. Ferrari World is a photo stop on this tour. If you would like to go inside, we can add an entry ticket to your booking, just tell us on WhatsApp when you book.

Is entry to Louvre Abu Dhabi included?

No. The Louvre is a photo stop. Entry tickets can be added to your booking on request.

Do you visit Qasr Al Watan?

Qasr Al Watan, the Presidential Palace, is not part of the AED 100 sharing tour, because the day is already full at ten hours. We can add it as a private or custom tour, or add an entry ticket to your booking. Tell us on WhatsApp when you book and we will price it for you.

What should women wear at the Grand Mosque?

Shoulders, arms and legs must be covered and ladies need a head covering. We provide an abaya free of charge at the mosque, so you do not need to bring anything.

What should men wear at the Grand Mosque?

Long trousers and a top that covers the shoulders. Tattoos need to be covered as well. We provide an abaya for ladies at the mosque, but no clothing is provided for men, so please dress before pickup.

Is hotel pickup included?

Yes. We pick you up from any hotel in Dubai between 07:30 and 08:30 and drop you back at the same hotel in the evening.

How long is the tour?

A full day. Around 10 hours door to door, including the drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back. Pickup is between 07:30 and 08:30 and you are back at your hotel between 19:30 and 20:00. The drive is about 90 minutes each way.

Which languages do your guides speak?

English and Russian on board as standard. Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and Chinese speaking guides are available on request, please ask when booking.

Can I book this as a private tour?

Yes. The AED 100 price is for the sharing (group) tour. A private vehicle for your family or group is available, message us on WhatsApp for a private tour price.

Who am I booking with?

Irha Tourism, a tour operator licensed by Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism (trade licence 1165750). We plan your itinerary, reserve your entry and arrange your transfers, and we stay reachable on WhatsApp throughout. The attraction itself is run by its own venue team, who host you on the day.

Is the price I see the price I pay?

Yes. Prices are per person in AED and include applicable taxes and fees. Before anything is charged, our team confirms your final total with you on WhatsApp, so there are no surprises at the gate.

How far is Abu Dhabi from Dubai?

Abu Dhabi is about 140 km from Dubai and the drive takes about 90 minutes each way in normal traffic, and we build both legs into the ten hour day. You are picked up between 07:30 and 08:30 and back at your hotel between 19:30 and 20:00, so you do not need to arrange any transport yourself.

Is this a good day trip from Dubai if I have only one free day?

Yes, that is exactly what this Abu Dhabi tour from Dubai is built for. The day trip runs on a fixed timetable so the whole capital fits into one day: the Grand Mosque, Emirates Palace, Etihad Towers, the Corniche, Heritage Village, the Dates Market and photo stops at Louvre Abu Dhabi and Yas Island. If you have a flight the same night, tell us before you book so we can advise.

When is the best time of year for this tour?

October to April is the most comfortable, with daytime temperatures that make the Corniche and Heritage Village pleasant on foot. From May to September it is hot, and the day still works because most of what you came for is indoors or shaded: the prayer hall at the Grand Mosque, the air-conditioned vehicle between stops, lunch, and the Dates Market. If you are travelling in summer, tell us and we will keep the walking stops short.

Should I take the sharing tour or a private vehicle?

The sharing tour at AED 100 per person runs on the fixed timetable above, so the group moves together and every stop starts and ends on the clock. It is the best value and it is what most guests book. A private vehicle costs more and buys you the timetable: start later, linger at the Grand Mosque or the Corniche, change the order of the stops, or add Qasr Al Watan. If you want a particular stop for longer, ask us for a private price before you book rather than on the day.

Why is AED 169 crossed out?

AED 169 is our standard rate for this tour. AED 100 is a current offer price, and it is the price you pay: it is per person on a sharing basis and it already includes lunch, drinking water, WiFi, the free abaya and hotel pickup and drop-off. Nothing is added at the end.

What do children and infants pay?

AED 100 is per person, and that is the same for an adult or a child from 3 years old, because every passenger takes a seat on the vehicle. Infants under 3 travel free on a parent’s lap. Tell us how many children you are bringing and their ages when you book, so we can seat the group together.

Can you take a wheelchair or someone with limited mobility?

Not on this tour. The vehicle cannot take a wheelchair, and several stops involve a short walk on uneven ground, the Corniche and Heritage Village in particular. If someone in your group has limited mobility but does not use a wheelchair, message us before you book and we will tell you honestly whether the day will work for them.

Is the Grand Mosque entry ticket included?

Yes, on this sharing tour the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque entry ticket is included in the AED 100. You do not pay anything at the gate. The free abaya is included too, handed to you at the entrance and returned after the visit. On our private Abu Dhabi tour the mosque ticket and lunch are not included, so check which one you are booking.

Do I need to bring any documents?

No. You do not need to bring a passport, an Emirates ID or anything else for this tour. If a particular booking does need a document for any reason, we will ask you for it when we confirm, so there is nothing to arrange in advance.
