About this experience
An indoor tropical biome in City Walk, built as a four-storey enclosed rainforest with the canopy at the top and the flooded forest floor at the bottom. You start at the top and work down, which is how a real rainforest is layered and the reason the building is shaped the way it is. Sloths, toucans and sugar gliders are free-roaming at canopy level. Lower down there are reptiles, piranhas and a nocturnal section. Keeper talks and feeding sessions run through the day; the timetable is at the entrance and they are worth planning around. An hour and a half. It is humid inside by design, around twenty-eight degrees, so a jacket is pointless. Your ticket is entry. The animal encounters are separate and must be booked in advance.
