About this experience
Level 148 is the highest observation deck in the Burj Khalifa at 555 metres, and it is a different visit from At The Top on 124. You are met at a separate entrance and taken up by a dedicated lift, so there is no standby queue at any point. At 148 the deck is a lounge rather than a viewing platform. You are shown to a seat, served refreshments, and the outdoor terrace at that height is enclosed but open to the air. The ticket then includes levels 125 and 124 on the way down, so you see both decks in one visit and can stay on 124 as long as you like afterwards. Two hours is the realistic time for the whole thing. Arrive thirty minutes before your slot, because the premium entrance is a different door inside The Dubai Mall and finding it eats the margin. This is the version worth paying for if you are going once. If you are going mainly for the photograph, At The Top on 124 gets you the same skyline for less.
