About this experience
A day in the Hajar Mountains, about ninety minutes from Dubai and a different country to look at. Hatta Dam is the centrepiece: turquoise water held between bare rock, where a boat experience is included in this tour. Hatta Heritage Village is a restored mountain settlement showing how people lived here before the road. Wadi Hub is the adventure side, with mountain biking, a zip line and the Hatta Drop-In. The drive itself is part of it, climbing out of the desert into real mountains with a border checkpoint on the way. Nine hours door to door.
