About this experience
The largest aquarium in the region, inside Al Qana on the Abu Dhabi waterfront, holding around 46,000 animals across ten zones. The zones follow water from the UAE outward: the mangroves and wadis of the Emirates first, then the Arabian Gulf, then the open ocean and finally the deep. The UAE section is the one worth slowing down for, because almost nobody who visits has seen a local wadi ecosystem up close. The shark tunnel and the ray touch pool are the two things children head for. Feeding sessions and talks run through the day on a timetable posted at the entrance. Two hours is right.
